Disclaimer and important safety information

For full transparency, as well as your health and safety, we ask you take a minute to read this in full before making any purchases

This website contains some general information about plants and extracts that have traditionally been used as remedies, foods and cosmetics.

The information provided on this website and our newsletters aims to be as objective and evidence-based as possible, and is not intended to replace the advice and/or care of a qualified medical practitioner.

Herbica London makes absolutely no claims nor guarantees that it's products can treat, cure, or help with any ailment or illness, and our products are absolutely not intended to be used as a treatment or cure for any medical condition or symptom.

We simply provide products with herbal extracts, and provide access to published papers in trusted journals that present findings related to ingredients within our products. We aim to be as transparent and honest as possible. If you have reason to believe that anything on this website is misleading or false, we encourage you to get in touch so we can put it right.

Our product pages contain references and direct links to full articles wherever we have been able to access them. We do not modify these in any way, and the original articles are available to be found through sources such as Google Scholar or the NIH Directory, PubMed. In most cases, the article will include and identification number such as a DOI reference or similar, however if you would like further information on any of the journals we reference, you can also email us for a link to their publisher pages.

These product pages do, on occasion (and only where necessary), contain light modifications to journal titles or quotations. These are shortened only to allow them to physically fit within the design of the web page and allow a consistent object size throughout the page. Any modification we make to ensure design consistency is done with no intent to modify or change the tone or messaging of the original, nor to mislead or offend.

None of the published evidence we post on our website has any affiliation with us, and we have no influence over the authors nor journals whose papers we reference. If you are aware of any journal, paper, or submission on our website that has been shown to be false, misleading, incorrect, or in any way discredited, please contact us and we will happily remove it.

If you are experiencing any symptoms, we strongly encourage you to consult a qualified medical practitioner before considering our products, and please do not attempt to self-diagnose or self-medicate.

Before using any of the products featured here, it is strongly recommended that you check that it is appropriate to do so by consulting a qualified medical practitioner. This is particularly important if you are pregnant, breast-feeding, have an existing medical condition, and/or are taking prescription drugs.

If symptoms arise and/or persist as a result of taking any Herbica London product, we ask that you discontinue use immediately, and always seek professional qualified medical advice. We also encourage you to advise us, so that we can monitor and review any cases in order to ensure safety and identify unforeseen contraindications should they arise.

Please note that it is possible to be sensitive to any ingredient be it natural or synthetic, therefore our products should be taken with care and appropriate dose recommendations should always be heeded. It may also be sensible to trial any new supplements for a short "test patch" period to ensure no adverse reactions arise. Again, a qualified medical practitioner should be consulted on how this should best be approached.

Finally, please be aware that our products are not suitable for anyone under the age of 18, or anyone that is pregnant, or is actively nursing.

Our health policy

Where we stand on our products' medicinal abilities and medical advice

The information provided on this website and our newsletters aims to be as objective and evidence-based as possible, and is not intended to replace the advice and/or care of a qualified medical practitioner.

We also are aware that some papers will discuss our active ingredients' abilities to treat serious medical conditions such as cancer. Our founder is an ex-cancer specialist and we cannot make this clear enough: while there may be evidence that these product could support an individual with such a condition, this is absolutely not an acceptable avenue of 'alternative medicine' and should at best be used as an adjunct to proper medical care. Please seek proper, medically accepted treatment immediately if this applies to you.

We cannot be held responsible for any condition, ailment, or illness that is allowed to persist or worsen by attempting to our products in lieu of proper medical care. And please, always consult a trained medical professional before embarking on any of our products.
